NFTs are about to have a major shift for the next cycle. You can think of it as the 2.0 of NFTs.

They discuss that the next round of successful NFT projects are going to have a much greater focus on the utility of their projects as well as the tokens themselves. This means that just dropping an NFT collection to be used as profile pictures will no longer cut it. NFT utility can be used in the form of access to VIP events, conferences, special chatrooms, and so much more. Some of the better projects that are out now have already implemented this, but it should become even more common place in the next cycle.
